New York City, 2017

The year is quickly coming towards it end, and what a year it has been. I'm thinking about doing a post more in depth about how my year has been, and what the future looks like for me, so I won't dwell too much upon this. But one of the things that the past year has given me, is the opportunity to experience NYC for the first time, together with my wife, which was a dream coming true for us.

For a guy with a beating heart for street photography like me, I felt fortunate to experience the city in both sunny and rainy weather. I've always found it amazing to see a city shifting mood completely, like when it starts to rain and everybody starts hurrying, umbrellas popping up all around you, how the streets gets emptier, etc. And of course also the opposite way around, when people crash in the public parks to enjoy the warming rays of the sun or whatever they might be up to.

We spent most of our time exploring on our own, but we also had the pleasure of meeting with a bunch of inspiring people, as the sweet guys from ONA bags and not least a guy I now call my friend, Ruben Hughes, who has since moved to Copenhagen to pursue his dreams. All in all, it was a truly memorable trip, and I simply can't wait to return!

Find a selection of my favorite photos from the trip below, and feel free to let me know what you think of them, if you have any NYC recommendations for my next visit or if you have anything else you want to share - thank you! :)
